Under 12s Waterfall Tournament

1st Match vs Dartfordians

EkB revived to first kick of the game and were of to a flying start with an opening try after some very good rucking and supporting runs.

The weather took a turn for the worse, with this our play became disjointed and allowed Dartfordians to get into rythm with some very strong breaks resulting in tries. Half time 5-2.

The second half was no better with the elements and our players were feeling this. Dartfordians continued to play very well over power and win the ruck zone resulting in more points. EkB continued to try and get back into the game and with some good parts of play they were rewarded final score was 10-5 to Dartfordians.

2nd Match vs Bass

From the off EKB showed a completely different state of mind with Robin Chaplin leading the forwards well and getting them working as a pack. This set the foundation which gave Poppy Sands many opportunities to pick and go resulted in a handful of tries.

Bass changed their style of play but Ellie Rae playing at 10 commanded the back line very well to ensure a defence with line speed and Bass were unable to break through.

EKB continued with great offloads getting the ball wide resulting in more tries. The final score was a 15-0 win.

An outstanding proformance form all and some players that deserve a mention:

• Isabel Burkett for making some very good tackles
• Bobbi Purser for a great tackle
• Poppy Hermitage for some great positioning
• Genevieve Frogley for her effort with of the ball work
